After completing this module, students will be able to:
- Explain how Hyper-V is a feature of Windows Server 2008
- Identify the requirements and features of Hyper-V
- Identify Hyper-V core design scenarios
Module 2: Technical Background and Architecture
After completing this module, students will be able to:
- Explain how the underlying architecture of Hyper-V is structured
- Explain how to install Hyper-V on Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 Server Core computers
- Explain how to perform and automate common management tasks using tools such as Windows PowerShell
- Explain the capabilities of System Center Virtual Machine Manager and how it can be leveraged to manage Hyper-V servers
