The course provides technical understanding of the software and hardware architecture, operation, capabilities and applications of the Cisco 12000 Series routers. It uses a hands-on approach that involves a combination of lectures, lab exercises and open discussions. After completing this course the student should be able to:
- Describe the capabilities of the Cisco 12000 Series
- Identify key features of the routers
- Identify the hardware and software components
- Describe the router architecture
- Enable interfaces to the routers
- Perform basic trouble-shooting
